Star European Championship victory to the German crew of Johannes Polgar and Markus Koy, who led the regatta from start to finish. The USA crew of Andrew Campbell and Brad Nichol finished the regatta well and moved up to take the silver medal. Canadians Richard Clarke and Tyler Bjorn took the bronze.

In today's race 6 of the series, Xavier Rohart and Pierre Alexis Ponsot (FRA) won from Johannes Babendererde and Timo Jacobs (GER) with New Zealand's Hamish Pepper and Craig Monk in third place.
