Mooloolaba Etchells Australasians Friday morning Media arrangements

One of best fleets in the 14 year history of this event, with a host of world champions, Olympians etc.The combined crew weight limit is 285.00 kg. Incredibly three crews weighed in at that exact figure.

Racing is scheduled to start at 11am. Friday- so crews will mostly be left the dock by 9:30am at latest. If you want to interview anyone, best come at 9am or better even earlier.

Rob Kothe (0418 44 1359) will help you find them.- will be on mobile from 6am - available for phone interviews etc.
If you need phone interview with significant talent, call and we will arrange.

Media coming to the event, please come to the Race Office in the Wharf Village next to the Wharf Tavern.

Media wanting to go out on the boat should call or email media@tetra-media.com

Media Boat will go out at 10:30am SHARP. – and will get close enough to film for 10 mins before start. Need to wear sneakers or boat shoes, please.

We are honoured that the Owner and Driver of the Media boat is Mooloolaba Yacht Club Commodore Bob Robertson

Media Boat – will start back in at 11:25am.

Second Race is likely to start at 1pm; fleet should be back by 3pm – that is if there is wind.

Still images will be available by 4pm. First cut of story by 3pm, final cut with full quotes by 5pm – again that is if there is wind.
