Registration and Weigh-in will start around 8:30am this Thursday morning at the Mooloolaba Yacht Club Office at the Wharf Centre.

Racing will commence on Friday morning offshore

A lot of the 52 or so crews will weigh in early, because they have been on very strict diets and are keen to officially be recorded under the 285kg limit, so they can eat!

America’s Cup Winning skipper and five times Australian Etchells Champion, John Bertrand is still after 13 years looking for his first Mooloolaba win.

He and his crew will weigh in early, and then have a hearty breakfast. After that they will be rigging the boat. John will be available for interviews in the Boat Park, from 11am- they will be out sailing by 12 noon.

Graeme Taylor and Grant Wharington will arrive for Weigh in at 2pm, bringing with them the new Spike Doriean trophy.

All of the crews will launch their boats and go offshore to train today.
