Inflatable surfboard manufacturer ULI Boards will be at the 50th Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show next month with its latest range of inflatable stand-up paddle boards and rescue sleds.
It will be the first Victorian showing for the ULI (ultra light inflatable) Boards, which have been a massive hit interstate and overseas.
ULI Boards Australia will display the full range, with special deals at the Boat Show, which runs from 1 to 5 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Designed with practicality, portability, durability and safety in mind, ULI Boards are hand made in the USA from military-grade PVC coated polyester cloth.
They come in several models of stand-up paddle boards, as well as rescue sleds which have featured on Australian TV show Bondi Rescue.
Designed to be tough enough to tackle heavy surf or rapids, as well as for flat-water river, lake or ocean cruising, ULI Boards are well suited for beginners and children who are learning to surf and also cater for the emerging stand-up paddle board market.
Each board is supplied complete with a high-pressure hand pump and separate pressure gauge, and can be rolled up neatly into its own carry bag for total portability.
ULI has designed the boards to be small enough when rolled up to be stored easily on any boat, large or small, and to be inflated and deflated in just a few minutes.
The 50th Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show runs from Thursday 1 July to Monday 5 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Opening hours are 10am to 9pm daily except Sunday, when the show closes at 7pm, and Monday when it closes at 8pm.
The quickest and easiest way to get in and see the ULI Boards and the many other attractions is to buy tickets online at www.melbourneboatshow.com.au for great savings and the chance to win one of 50 prizes to celebrate the 50th Show.
