Jaguar to unveil new XJ series at Six Senses Phuket Raceweek 2010

Six Senses Phuket Raceweek sees competitors engage in battle on the heavenly waters off Phuket’s south east coast during four days of high octane and adrenaline pumping racing at the ‘Summer Season’ regatta from the 21st – 25th July 2010. The regatta is held under the auspices of the Ao Chalong Yacht Club, with the support of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Sports Authority of Thailand and the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand.

Six Senses Phuket Raceweek also marks the opening leg of the Asian Yachting Grand Prix (AYGP). A selection of top class racing class events, AYGP sees the finest teams compete over the season in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines as well as Thailand.

The resplendent Evason Phuket & Six Senses Spa’s lower sea view terrace will serve as the Six Senses Phuket Raceweek HQ and the home to the nightly after race parties which sees competitors and spectators
unwind. The hotel is set amongst 64 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical parklands, gardens and infinity pools looking out onto stunning views of the Andaman Sea.

World renowned supercar brand Jaguar, one of the co-sponsors for Six Senses Phuket Raceweek 2010, is set to premiere its latest luxury saloon car the All New XJ, at Asia’s fastest growing regatta.

Jaguar have returned for a second successive year to Co-sponsor the Six Senses Phuket Raceweek 2010 and will be providing VIP guests from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka Taiwan and Thailand the opportunity to see, drive and enjoy the latest addition to Jaguar’s timeless selection of sports and saloon cars. In the year which sees the brand celebrate its 75th anniversary at the highest echelons of motoring, Jaguar is showing continued commitment to the growing Asian market. Now in its seventh year, Six Senses Phuket Raceweek 2010 will take place from 21st – 25th July in Phuket, Thailand.
