2010 NEISA Annual Award winners announced

The New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association announced the members of the 2010 All New England Team after the conclusion of the Fowle Trophy for the NEISA Team Race Championship hosted by Salve Regina University.

Twenty-seven student-athletes were named to the team for achievements in coed competition throughout the year.

John Ingalls from Salve Regina was named Coach of the Year. Alec Anderson ’13 from Roger Williams was named the Rookie of the Year. Billy Martin ’10 from BU received the Sportsmanship Award. Coco Solsvig ’10 from Vermont won the Babineau Trophy for the Best Crew in NEISA. Thomas Barrows ’10 from Yale was awarded the Senior Trophy and the Sailor of the Year! Boston College won the Championship. They will be joined by Tufts and Yale at the ICSA Team Racing National Championship at the University of Wisconsin.
