New Whittley dealers for Sydney and Gold Coast

Whittley Marine has expanded its national dealer network with the appointment of two major new dealers to distribute its range of fishing, general purpose and ski boats.

Blakes Marine in Sydney and Broadwater Boating Centre on the Gold Coast now offer the full range of Whittley Sea Legend, Whittley Clearwater, Whittley Inflatable Boats and Spy Boats.

Both dealers see Whittley as an ideal offering for their local boat buyers to meet their particular boating needs and powerplant choices.

Broadwater offers Yamaha outboard power while Blakes has both Yamaha and Evinrude E-Tec outboards, in addition to the Volvo Penta power in Whittley sterndrive models.

Located just 20 minutes from the Hawkesbury River, Alan and Anne Blake have been serving Sydney boating enthusiasts for more than 20 years, and will exhibit their new Whittley boats at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show.

Broadwater Boating Centre, which represents a renewed Whittley commitment to the Gold Coast, is part of the Hinterland Group which sells and services motor vehicles, boats, marine engines, caravans and automotive/industrial paint supplies in Queensland and northern NSW.

Whittley Co-Owner and Managing Director, Neville Whittley, said the new appointments were part of a major expansion of the dealer network.

“Before the year is out, we will have doubled our dealer network,” he said.

“Over the past five years we have greatly expanded our range, especially with the Clearwater and Inflatable boats, and this dealer network expansion is the next step in our strategic plan.

“It is now easier than ever for people to access Whittley fishing, general purpose and ski boats, all of which deliver the unbeaten quality for which Whittley is known.

“Blakes and Broadwater join with MY Marine and Geelong Boating Centre in Victoria to deliver our expanded range, and there are more to come.”

The network expansion offers particularly wide distribution for the Whittley Sea Legend range of luxuriously equipped blue water fishing boats, which remain available from the established network of premium Whittley Cruisers dealers.
