All New England Women's Team

The New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association announced the members of the 2010 All New England Women’s Team at the conclusion of the New England Women’s Championship hosted by Brown University.

Twenty-two women were recognized for their achievements in this academic year, including six skippers on both the first and second teams and ten crews all on the first team.

Claire Dennis ’13 from Yale was named the Rookie of the Year. Liz Powers ’10 from Harvard is the Outstanding Sportsman. Annie Haeger ’12 from Boston College was named the Women’s Sailor of the Year.

The Brown Bears claimed the Reed Trophy for the New England Women’s Championship and an automatic berth in the ICSA National Women’s Championship Finals at University of Wisconsin.

The Harvard Crimson finished second to claim the other automatic berth in the National Finals. Boston College, Connecticut College, Tufts, Yale and Dartmouth all earned berths in the first round of the ICSA National Women’s Championship also hosted by Wisconsin.
