Yacht Sales West (YSW) is pleased to announce their appointment as the new Catalina Yachts dealer for Western Canada. Catalina offers value and quality with a nod to family friendly designs that are fun and safe to sail.

'We look forward to making relationships with current owners and introducing new families to Catalina Yachts,' remarked Len Baronit, President of YSW. 'Catalina Yachts has had a strong presence in BC for many years and we look forward to continuing with this well known brand in the local market,' said Baronit.

'The Catalina line perfectly rounds out the sail boat lines that we represent,' said Baronit. On Granville Island since 1994, YSW represents Catalina, Bavaria, C&C, Tartan and Contest Yachts. In addition to the sales location, YSW also has a full service shop that provides all levels of service to customers from annual service to engine work to electronics and heater installations. Catalina owners can look forward to working with our service manager, Brett Chapman.

Catalina Yachts has built thousands of boats since 1970. When a new boat is designed, they don't reinvent the wheel; rather they incorporate proven features with new ideas and boat owner's suggestions. Not only does this give the line continuity, it helps to avoid trendy styling and insures good resale value for Catalina owners. 'Today, Catalina is a thriving boat builder with a simple, yet effective philosophy: listening to customers and doing their best every day. I think that after 40 years, their philosophy speaks for them loud and clear.' concluded Baronit.
