Ferretti Yachts presence at China International Boat Show

by Ferretti Group on 10 Apr 2010
Salvatore Basile, CEO of the Ferretti Group at CIBS Guy Nowell http://www.guynowell.com
The Ferretti Group, a world leader within the sphere of the design, construction and sale of luxury motoryachts encompassing a unique portfolio of some of the most exclusive brands in the nautical world, will be present at the upcoming 15th China International Boat Show in Shanghai from the eighth to 11th April.

The Group is taking part in what can be considered one of the most important appointments for the nautical market in Asia with a prestigious stand of 135m², represented by Ferretti’s top management and the exclusive, newly-appointed dealer network, in order to welcome visitors from all over China.

This year, a strong team, led by Ferretti Group CEO, Salvatore Basile, together with Ferretti Group Chief Technical Officer, Mauro Frattesi, Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Area Manager, Giuseppe Zecchin and China Chief Representative, Daniell Chen, took part in the Ferretti’s press conference, during which the Group officially appointed and welcomed four new dealers to China’s network.

They include:
1) Speedo Marine, representing Ferretti Yachts in Eastern China and Hainan; already Itama’s
dealer in China

2) Kingsway Marine Limited, representing Ferretti Yachts in Guangdong; already a dealer in Hong Kong and Macau

3) Asia Yachting, representing Pershing in Eastern and Southern China;

4) Jebsen Marine, representing Riva in Greater China.

Salvatore Basile, Ferretti Group CEO, said: 'Ferretti Group strongly believes in the Chinese market. For this reason, we are working hard to become stronger and better in terms of ability, efficiency and service to our clients in this country. From vision to realization, Ferretti Group’s commitment to the Chinese market remains as strong as ever and we will continue to reinforce our presence here, through the invaluable help of our dealers and partners. Today is a very special occasion, as we are here to celebrate the appointment of four new dealers for our brands in China, who are true partners for us in facing the upcoming challenges. I want to welcome them, on behalf of the Group, and wish them the greatest success.'

Giuseppe Zecchin, Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Area Manager, commented: 'Ferretti Group’s endeavor over the past six years has been most encouraged by the rapid growth of its brand awareness, significant acknowledgement within the industry, and a growing sales performance in China. In 2008, the first brands to come to China, Ferretti Yachts and Pershing were both nominated by Hurun Report readers as the best yacht brands. Ferretti Yachts was voted by VIP readers of Robb Report China as the Best Yacht brand of 2009. The success of these two brands has encouraged Riva, Itama and Custom Line to be present in China. Now, with more Ferretti Group brands being introduced to China, Chinese clients have greater opportunity to acknowledge the differences of the personality.
