The Red Dwarf team in action Janet Gordon
The Red Dwarf Sailing Team, skippered by Jinnie Gordon of Niagara-on-the-lake, has been actively racing their Shark 'Red Dwarf' for many years. This year, their busy regatta schedule includes a trip to Switzerland for the Shark World Championship Regatta, seven Shark regattas in Canada and the US, and the CYA Women's Keelboat Championship in Quebec.
Their new website with daily blogs, is not only a tool to promote their team campaign, but also an opportunity to share their particular brand of sailing with anyone interested. Team Dwarf is especially keen to encourage women in the sport of sailing, and can be contacted by novices and experienced sailors alike to answer questions and share experiences. As the regatta season progresses, they will be sharing stories, pictures and videos on everything from boat maintenance and repair, to racing, team building, and just plain sailing fun.
