Billy Bung Billy Bung
The DeckHardware Team are very excited to announce that soon the Billy Bung will be available in Australia. We will be showing the Billy Bung for the first time at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.

The Silly Billy Safety Bung self seals and self drains.
You never take it out of the boat so you never lose it, and if you forget to tighten it up it will seal itself.
The Silly Billy Safety Bung is the only self sealing self draining safety bung in the world (patent pending).

Doesn't your family deserve a Silly Billy Safety Bung right now?

Fitting Directions

* Park boat in a comfortable area
* Remove the existing plug and drain assembly
* Bore out existing bung hole to 40mm to receive the Billy Bung drain
* Seal around drain using a suitable sealant
* Place Billy Bung's drain into the hole
* Pre-drill the screw holes then screw Billy Bungs drain into place using the screws supplied
* Screw Billy Bung's plug into the drain, then out no more than 3 full turns (this will allow Billy Bung to drain for you)

Recommended Use

* Always be sure to screw your Billy Bungs plug closed before launching
* If you forget to close your Billy Bung plug before launching, the Billy Bung plug will seal anyway, stopping water gushing into your boat
* Although not recommended, using your Billy Bung in the open position when the boat is in use will allow any water to drain while traveling along

Warning
o Your Billy Bung plug should be screwed closed while the boat is in the water
o Care and attention is required by the operator if you leave Billy Bung in the open/drain position while the boat is in the water
o It is important to keep the hull area free of debris etc that could cause Billy Bung to be less effective

Maintenance
o Simply unscrew and remove Billy Bung's plug from the drain, remove all debris etc
o Flush the plug with water and screw the plug back into the drain
