Be part of the race crew of 14 people who will be assisted by three permanent crew members.
Benefit from the presence of some real sailing professionals who will offer some race winning tips.

The package includes accommodation ashore on a twin share basis and exclusive opportunities to join the party scene as an Australian Sailing Crew Member.

Race Week includes activities for partners to enjoy: fashion parades, wine tasting, lunches, dinners, tennis and golf on the new Dent Passage golf course.

The Racing

Friday August 20
Arrive in Hamilton Island and check into accommodation. There will be a yacht familiarization and shake down cruise in the afternoon

Saturday August 21
The racing will start in earnest, usually with the Lindeman Island Race. The course includes some narrow passages between the islands and tactics will have a big bearing on the final outcome of this race.

August 22 – 28
The race program will continue through until Saturday 28, with all of the races involving passages through the Whitsunday Islands. This means there will be ample opportunity to fine - tune your boat handling skills; steering, tacking, gibing, spinnaker work, navigating; and everyone will have the opportunity to take part.

The package prices are as follows;

Sailing on the yacht $4,400 per person
Partners staying on the shore $2,495 per person

The package prices include the following;

• Airport transfers and use of the island shuttles during the day
• Four star accommodation in the Reef View Hotel – garden view room for 9 nights
• Upgrade to ocean view is available upon request
• Buffet breakfast daily
• For sailing participants inclusion in the race crew of the maxi yacht Hammer of Queensland

• Full race insurance
• Berthing in Hamilton Harbor
