The new range is aimed at the Australia and NZ market and will be competitively priced. MIAA
New Ocean Yachts (AUST) Pty Ltd, headed by Keith Hanson and Brett Flanagan, is proud to announce the launch of a new range of boats to the Australian and New Zealand markets that will position them for considerable growth and success over the coming months and years.

Leading marine industry figure Keith Hanson has joined Brett Flanagan at the helm of the newly formed New Ocean Yachts (AUST) Pty Ltd. Keith, who is known as one of Australia’s leading blue water boating specialists, recently left Riviera to undertake this exciting new project.

New Ocean Yachts is regarded as one of Taiwan’s leading big boat manufacturers, with Keith and Brett to leverage their many years of blue water boating experience to introduce a new range of flybridge cruisers and sports yachts into the New Ocean Yachts range.

The flybridge cruisers will range from 46-65ft, Sports Yachts from 45-71ft and they will complement the existing range of New Ocean Motor Yachts available from 65 to 115ft. Each model in the flybridge range will feature a luxurious enclosed flybridge, with the first of the new range due in Australian waters later this year.

The New Ocean Yachts range of flybridge cruisers and sport yachts will be developed using the very latest technology and construction techniques, ensuring exceptional build quality, outstanding performance and great value for money.

The range will feature a traditional robust hull design without tunnels, offering exceptional sea-keeping ability with a focus on ride performance and fuel economy and some models available with shaft drive, IPS or Zeus drive systems. True to New Ocean Yachts commitment to building the highest quality vessels, the range will feature world class fittings, fixtures, finishes and stunning timberwork to match and surpass the quality of any other boat on the market today and beyond.

The New Ocean Yachts range will be supported by a national dealer network with leading boating sales and service personnel offering service and support in each of the major national boating locations.

New Ocean Yachts will be opening a state of the art service and after-market facility on the Gold Coast, where they will also offer a fully equipped mobile service to cater for the New Ocean Yachts range or any of the leading boating brands on the market.

The partnership of Keith and Brett represents a great opportunity for those considering purchasing a luxury boat. They both have extensive sales, marketing and service experience in the big boat category, and offer potential purchasers with the best advice and back up support when considering their options.

The decision to purchase a luxury vessel is a major consideration, with Keith, Brett and their team taking away many of the hesitations through hands on assistance with their selection, specifications, handling, servicing and support needs. Their service represents very much a valet style boat purchase and ownership experience offered by very few.

'I’m extremely excited to represent such an impressively crafted range of boats for the Australian and New Zealand markets, and I’m proud to say we’ve sold our first 630 Sports Yacht, which I invite people to view at the Sydney International Boat Show'. Said Mr Hanson. Flybridge and Sports Yacht owners across Australia and New Zealand will be thoroughly impressed with the quality of the New Ocean Yachts range that will debut in our waters later this year. Mr Hanson went on to say.

The New Ocean Yachts flybridge, sports yacht and motor yacht ranges will be purpose built for Australian blue water cruising and fishing, and will be matched by unrivalled customer service and support around Australia and New Zealand.

Keith has forged a reputation as one of Australia’s leading blue water boating specialists, through the many owner events and trips he and his team have organised for many years. A highlight for Keith was his recent circumnavigation of Australia with Ian Reynolds in his 56 flybridge, along with their ocean passages to Middleton Reef, Lord Howe Island and the Louisiades Islands in Papua New Guinea.

The team is committed to ensuring the many flybridge, sports and motor yacht owners in the market continue to enjoy their boating experiences and they will be offering guided tours for a number of trips and events scheduled for 2010 and beyond.
