Students that survived ship sinking back in Canada

TORONTO — Sixty-four Canadian students who spent nearly 40 harrowing hours in life rafts after their ship sunk off the coast of Brazil last week are heading home to family and friends.
A flight containing the students arrived in Toronto just before 6 a.m. Monday from Sao Paulo. They were expected to return to their homes across Canada as soon as possible.
One young woman, Olivia Aftergood, 16, of Calgary was relieved to be back in Canada and happy her ordeal was over.
'It's kind of a blur, but I got through it and that's all that matters. I'm doing good. A couple of bumps and bruises, but I'm doing good.'
Students, teachers and crew members were left waiting in life rafts after their three-mast ship, the SV Concordia, went down in the stormy waters of the Atlantic Wednesday afternoon.
The ship's captain William Curry attributed a freak gust of wind to tipping the boat over.
