Sunreef appoints China dealer

James Li, Speedo Marine, Sunreef’s new China dealer Sunreef Yachts
Speedo Marine with its headquarters in Shenzhen, China, has been appointed by Sunreef Yachts as its exclusive dealer for mainland China. The contract between the two companies was signed in January 2010.

Established in 1993 by James Li as a company selling engines for motor boats and ensuring maintenance services, Speedo Marine started its brokerage activity in 2003 and over the years has become one of the principal yacht brokers in China, with its headquarters in Shenzhen and local offices in Dalian, Shanghai, Qingdao, Sanya, and Xiamen. In addition to that, to ensure its strong position on the yachting market, the company cooperates with numerous yacht clubs and marinas throughout China. ”We are delighted to have Speedo Marine as a business partner in China, a country with such an enormous buying potential and fast growing marine infrastructure and we are counting on concluding several sales contracts in 2010. The first fruit of this cooperation was the recent sale of a Sunreef 62 to a Chinese client with delivery scheduled for summer this year. Apart from the Sunreef brand promotion, Speedo Marine will be in charge of ensuring technical support and survey services for all Sunreef catamarans in the region,” says Maciej Stompor, Sunreef's Sales Director.

The Shanghai Boat Show in April 2010 will be the first event where Sunreef Yachts will be officially represented by Speedo Marine.

Apart from China, Sunreef Yachts has an extensive worldwide brokers network in Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Israel, USA, India, South-East Asia and Australia, to name but a few.
