Riviera is powering forward with exciting new models and designs, which are expected to make waves at one of the world's largest and most prestigious boating events – the 69th annual Miami International Boat Show and Strictly Sail Miami.

More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the 2010 event, which spans 2.5 million square feet at the Miami Beach Convention Centre from February 11-15.

Riviera will showcase some of its latest and most popular models including the 41, 45 and 47 Open Flybridges, the 43 with IPS and 48 Offshore Express and the 4400 Sport Yacht with IPS.

Director of Riviera Yachts Chris McCafferty said Riviera had held a strong presence at the Miami Boat Shows for the past 10 years and would display six boats at the 2010 show.

'Miami is regarded as one of the premier boat shows in the world and is vitally important to both the domestic American market and also Europe. We typically use this show to introduce key models to the market in the Northern hemisphere,' Mr McCafferty said.

'Our display in 2010 will show the strength of our brand in the US market and will also reinforce the commitment Riviera has to both it's present and future customers.'

Riviera CEO John Anderson said new boat sales were on the rise and Riviera anticipates continued success at the international boat shows in 2010.

'It is pleasing to see strengthening demand for Riviera in both the United States and European markets, giving us a clear indication that 2010 will be a stronger year for new boat sales,' Mr Anderson said.

'The Miami International Boat Show has always been one of our largest and most successful boat shows and we look forward to showcasing our impressive new range.

'We will have our professional team on hand to discuss our new innovative models bound for the United states in 2010 including the 5000 Sport Yacht with Zeus pod drives, 5800 Sport Yacht with triple IPS, 51 Enclosed Flybridge with triple IPS and new flybridge design, and our sensational new Motor Yacht range.'

Riviera's 2010 New Models include:

Riviera's new 5000 Sport Yacht features one level living, walk around decks, tender garage, aft galley, ample cockpit furniture, great accommodation, three cabins and two bathrooms.

The launch of Riviera's revolutionary new 5800 Sport Yacht has proved popular with the international market with its stunning design and unrivalled features, taking lavish boating to a new level.

Featuring a three or four cabin option, full beam master stateroom, the option of a galley in the saloon or below decks, an expansive cockpit with large dining table and a garage that can accommodate a 3.2-metre tender.

Riviera's popular 51 Series II Flybridge models now feature a sensational new Flybridge design and the exciting new IPS propulsion option, offering enhanced performance and increased storage.

This new layout includes an impressive wrap-around helm, long luxurious lounge next to the captain helm seat, aft docking station and wet bar, crew's quarters including bunk and fully-equipped bathroom, spacious queen double beds in the midships master and forward guest staterooms but the most striking feature is the awning window which opens up to connect the saloon with the cockpit.

Following extensive testing in the United States, this model is now available with triple Volvo Penta IPS drive systems; however both 51 Open and Enclosed Flybridge models will continue to be offered with shaft drive.

The new Motor Yacht range gives dedicated Riviera owners options close to superyacht dimensions.

The 73, 78 and 85 Motor Yachts bearing Riviera's hallmark styling and impeccable build quality, will be the epitome of luxury for a few discerning owners.

Featuring air-conditioning, fully enclosed Sky Lounge, comprehensive audio-visual systems, tender garage, hydraulic swim platform and bow thruster as standard options on the 73 and 78 Motor Yachts.

The 85 Motor Yacht's standard inclusions encompass four cabins including a full-beam master stateroom with full-beam bathroom equipped with shower and bath and dual basins and toilets plus twin walk-in robes, enclosed Sky Lounge, tender garage and hydraulic swim platform, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters and windlass.

'As the market recovers, we have increased our new product development team considerably to cope with the mounting demand for new Rivieras, which is great news as we prepare for the 2010 Miami International Boat Show and Strictly Sail Miami,' Mr Anderson said.

'As we look forward and prepare our forecasts, we have restructured our production lines to a continuous flow line that will better allow us to further ramp up production in 2010 to meet rising demand,' Mr Anderson said.

Riviera offers 20 different models from 36 to 85 feet across four model series Flybridge, Sport Yacht, Offshore Express and Motor Yachts.
