You, me and Tiger Woods, we all find the same solution...

by Des Ryan on 15 Dec 2009
How to get away from it all? SW
Where do you go when you want to get away from it all? Why sailing of course? Get the wind in your hair, leave the computer at home, turn the cell phone off and forget the newspapers.

So Tiger Woods, too, is solving his problems by going sailing, on a yacht called, whaddya know, Privacy.

He hasn't had much time to learn to sail, though, what with the golf and all, so his boat sports an iron mainsail.

Of course, he won't be really roughing it either, and it's doubtful that the drinks will ever spill.

The yacht was built by Christensen Yachts, and it has stabilizers and a Jacuzzi pool along with all the normal luxuries one would expect on a superyacht owned by a golfing legend.

The Vancouver shipyard and Tiger don't speak much any more after they broke a confidentiality agreement not to divulge the owner of the boat while they were building it.

The 155 ft yacht has been docked in Florida's North Palm Beach, but now it's getting ready to sail as the world's best known golfer recently announced that he will take leave of absence - indefinitely - from the sport, in the aftermath of the media frenzy caused by his admission that he has been unfaithful to his Swedish wife Elin Nordegren.

The vessel was reportedly loaded with a large volume of supplies over the weekend, and a tarpaulin has been placed discreetly over the name of the vessel to discourage prying photographers.

Good luck Tiger, let's hope the paparazzi give you a chance to enjoy your time on the water like the rest of us!
