Chang Beer’s regatta under the moonlight shines at King’s Cup

Sailing, sun and the best parties in Southeast Asia, that’s how the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta is often described by visitors old and new. Bringing that reputation to a whole new level, the Chang Regatta under the moonlight saw thousands of revelers dancing until the early hours. Chang Beer’s sponsorship of the Phuket King’s Cup each year is a popular addition to Asia’s best loved Regatta. With an estimated 7,500 litres beer being served up during the weeklong event, sailor and guests have lot to cheer about.

One of the top events in the yachting world, the Phuket King's Cup Regatta is now in its 23rd year welcomes 111 boats and 2,000 high spending participants to Phuket. This year, the closing day of the regatta coincides with His Majesty the King’s birthday, 5th of December.

Competitors in this truly international yachting event come from all corners of the world – 33 nationalities are represented this year.
