'It is a delicate operation for us at every Monsoon Cup. We want to ensure that the boats are lowered safely because the team has worked so hard over the last several months to prepare the boat for the Monsoon Cup,' said Yacht Manager David Mills.
The yachts will undertake several test runs before they are certified fit for the Asian Matchracing championships, the Malaysian titles and then the Monsoon Cup in December, he added. Two cranes were present to ensure that all the eight boats were launched smoothly without any hitches.
