World Masters Games
Media accreditation applications for the Sydney 2009 World Masters Games close on Friday 11 September.

Media wishing to cover the Sydney 2009 World Masters Games Opening Ceremony and visit of His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Denmark must apply for Games media accreditation.

Applications for Games media accreditation close on Friday 11 September.

Only accredited media will be able to apply for pools to cover Crown Prince Frederik’s participation in the Games sailing competition and attendance of Games events, including the Games Opening Ceremony at ANZ Stadium on Sunday 11 October.

A Games media advisory outlining all open and pool opportunities will be released to accredited media on Tuesday 15 September.

Media personnel can apply for Games media accreditation online at http://www.2009worldmasters.com/Media-Accreditation/default.aspx.

Accredited media will be able to use the facilities at the Media Centre at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, which will be operational from 7-18 October, and public transport throughout the city, including Games shuttle buses, during the event.

The Games Organising Committee advises Australian media wishing to cover Games events involving Crown Prince Frederik to apply for a National Visits Media Card in addition to Games media accreditation.

The NVMC identifies its holder as a person with a legitimate media interest in the visits of foreign dignitaries to Australia.
Australian media can apply for a NVMC online at http://www.ag.gov.au/www/agd/agd.nsf/Page/Nationalsecurity_NationalVisitsMediaCard(NVMC).

For more information about Games media accreditation or simply the Games in general, visit the Games website at http://www.2009worldmasters.com.
