Superyacht Base Brisbane appoints Peter Jenyns

Peter has grown up on boats and joins SYBB from a development role at Marine Qld. MIAA
Well-known identity in the south-east Queensland marine industry, Peter Jenyns comes to Superyacht Base Brisbane from Marine Queensland where he held the position of membership and business development manager.
“The appointment is a welcome one given Peter’s knowledge and appreciation of our industry” said Clare Green, Chairman of Superyacht Base Brisbane.
“Peter grew up on and around boats, is a past charter boat captain, avid offshore angler and competitive sailor. Most importantly, he understands the effectiveness and strength of membership based organisations like Superyacht Base Brisbane (SYBB).'
Prior to joining the marine industry Peter had 25 years in the advertising industry both here and in the UK.
One of Peter’s key responsibilities will be the development of a strategy to better promote SYBB and its members' businesses at the Monaco Yacht Show, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Tahiti and the South Pacific, METS and next year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
“I’m excited about the opportunities for SYBB and its members” said Peter. “Brisbane’s location and refit facilities are world class and I intend to get that message out there. I also look forward to strengthening the group’s membership base through the enhancement of service offerings, providing tangible benefits to membership and building better communication between members.'
