There is something liberating about bareboat chartering in the Whitsundays with Whitsunday Rent A Yacht... The sheer exhilaration and freedom at the helm of your own yacht or motor cruiser is hard to beat... and the kids will love it too.

Share the fun and adventure with friends or family as you cruise amongst tropical islands. Drop anchor in one of the hundreds of protected bays and inlets, take your dinghy ashore to explore the coral sandy beaches, swim, dive the reefs or fish for dinner. The choice is yours on a sail or drive yourself holiday in the Whitsunday Islands.

Kids of all ages just love the adventure and freedom, the huge variety of things to see and do in this tropical Great Barrier Reef playground.. No more 'dad I’m bored' on this holiday or ' can I have more spending money' because once you leave our base to go cruising there’s no need to spend more. We can organise to have your boat fully stocked with a delicious range of food and beverages, yes we even have kids meal packages.

For the past 27 years, we’ve organised romantic getaways, fun family holidays and group sailing adventures. You can select your ideal holiday boat from 35 vessels ranging in size from 28’ to 50’ sailing yachts, catamarans and motor cruisers. No boat license required.

Its not just us saying this - look at a recent testimonial...

'I am writing to thank you and your staff at WRAY for a fantastic holiday adventure.

We have been keen boating and sailing enthusiasts for many, many years. As a result of meeting WRAY staff at the Melbourne boat show we booked a seven day sailing trip with you. {This was my wife Lyn’s 50th birthday present.}

'Some of our family have not done much open water sailing and we tried to impress on them the great adventure it would be sailing the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, even though at that stage we had only seen photos and heard stories from other keen sailors that had visited and sailed the islands.

'That was before we boarded L- atitude. Wow what a yacht!

We had an absolutely fantastic time, L-atitude was by far the best yacht we have sailed in the past 20 years I'd have to say, Exceptional!!

'She handled the conditions beautifully and we had a ball. By the end of the trip we had seven sailors on board hauling the mainsail up and tacking on the jib, flying across the choppy water.

'We will most definitely be returning to the Whitsundays most probably next year but at a later time in the year, and for longer. Seven days was not enough to see all the islands. Our adult children are keen scuba divers and the longer trip next time will allow them more dive time. The fish life around the reef areas at Hook Island were spectacular.

'Thank you again for such a magical holiday' Regards Peter Lang – Victoria.
