2009 Modern Boating Boat of the Year winners announced

The BIA Breakfast was the venue for the recognition of this year's Boat of the Year, chosen by Modern Boating magazine.
Held on Day 2 of SIBS, the breakfast is a tradition that attracts exhibitors, trade, media and sponsors, celebrating the official opening of the show and the winners of Modern Boating Boat of the Year awards.
Editor, Daniel Tillack, announced this year's best which included: Aluminium Boat of the Year - Stacer Barra Pro 519; Cruiser of the Year (9-12m Australia) - Steber 3800; Cruiser of the Year (9-12m imported) - Glacier Bay 3080 Coastal Runner; Cruiser of the Year (12m+ Australian) - Mustang 430 Sports Coupe; Crusier of the Year (12m Imported) - Hampton 680 Pilothouse; Family Boat of the Year (4-7m Australian) - Evolution 500 Sportfisher; Family Boat of the Year (4-7m Imported) - Bayliner 205 Bowrider; Family Boat of the Year (7-9m Australian) - Powercat Partycat; Family Boat of the Year (7-9m Imported) - Bayliner Discovery 288; Family Sports Boat of the Year (Imported) - Mastercraft X-35; Fishing Boat of the Year (Australian) - Haines Signature 485SF; Fishing Boat of the Year (Imported) - Trophy 2502 Walkaround; Yacht of the Year - Moody 45 DS.
