Congratulations - Ben Rogerson and Mini Minx have done it! Solo Non-stop around Great Britain and Ireland!...... hoorah!

Showing outstanding qualities of courage, determination, endurance, commitment, tenacity and skill throughout an epic journey around Great Britain and Ireland in a Mini 6.5, 25 year old Ben has succeeded in his ambitious goal to sail non-stop around Great Britain and Ireland.

Ben has successfully completed his RBI challenge, crossing the finish line at 0625 hrs UTC 25 July 2009. 15 days 3 hours 8 minutes. This amazing feat to our knowledge has never before been achieved non-stop in a Mini 6.5 - a ‘World First'.

A huge thanks to all those people behind the scenes who have helped and supported Ben over many months to make this happen.

As part of the build up of his campaign to compete in the Mini Transat in 2011, Ben Rogerson, with the support of the ORM | International management team, made the Round Britain & Ireland Non-Stop Solo Attempt in support of and to raise awareness of the Armed Services Rehabilitation Charitable Organisation - 'Toe in the Water'.
