Evinrude E-TEC have come away on top at the 2009 Mildura Ski Race, grabbing first place and breaking existing records across both SMOC expert and social classes.

Being driven by Brad Groves, Stalker Evinrude, won both divisions and continued its great form in the 08/09 Australian Ski Racing season.

'The results we have achieved this year are a testament to everyone's hard work and commitment. It is also a testament to the great power and performance built into the Evinrude E-TEC 250HO' said Brad Groves after the win.
Stalker Evinrude have also taken line honours in the SMOC social and set a new race record at this year's Southern 80, as well as winning both SMOC social and expert classes at Robinvale 09, also in new record time.

These latest results follow a long and successful partnership between Stalker and the Evinrude E-TEC 250HO. With leading performance and durability, as well as being one of the cleanest engines on the water, Evinrude E-TEC outboards are a class above the rest.

Congratulations to Brad and the team for their outstanding achievements in this year's Ski Racing Championships.

Evinrude E-TEC have had one of the most dominant ski racing seasons on record. With a focus on the SMOC and MOC divisions, Evinrude powered racers have raised the bar, taking line honors and breaking records.

Across Australia, the SMOC divisions at Sydney and Grafton Bridge to Bridge, Southern 80, Robinvale, Mildura, Hawkesbury 120, National and State Titles, and numerous series events, has been taken out by an Evinrude E-TEC. Even more impressive is the fact that many of these wins smashed previous race records and were either double, or even triple, podium finishes. This is a testament to the class-leading power and performance inherent in Evinrude's 250HO.

'The sheer top speed and torque of the big block Evinrude allows for higher average corner speeds which won us the race. We are extremely happy with the win and the performance of the E-TEC engine' said Jeff Stubbs, driver of Test Labs after winning and setting a new race record at the Hawkesbury 120 in SMOC class.

Evinrude powered racers have also performed well in MOC divisions taking line honors and double podium finishes at Grafton, a double podium finish at Murray Bridge and the Sydney Bridge to Bridge, and grabbing a first place at Mildura.

'A massive thank-you needs to go to my team and Evinrude E-TEC for their continued support to get us where we are' said Ace Racing driver Darren Spencer, after smashing a 5 year race record in MOC class at the Sydney Bridge to Bridge.

This consistency in the Australian racing circuit reinforces E-TEC's standing as the leading outboard engine manufacturer. Time and time again, Evinrude's focus across the SMOC and MOC divisions has resulted in line honors and old race records being broken.
