North South Yachting, SailCorp and Finlease – Yacht Ownership Open Evening 15 May 2009.

North South Yachting, SailCorp Yacht Charters and Finlease are teaming up to host an open evening on the many options for yacht ownership in Sydney Harbour at the SailCorp charter base in Lavender Bay, North Sydney.


If you hold an interest in owning a charter yacht on the harbour, owning a share in a syndicate, buying a new yacht or buying/selling a used yacht, this is a chance to discuss the ins and outs with specialists in the subjects.

Available for viewing in the afternoon and on the night will be a Bavaria 34 Cruiser and a Bavaria 40 Cruiser. Take the opportunity to see these stunning models in a casual environment with advice on hand.

North South Yachting is the importer for Bavaria Yachts and has sold nearly 400 new yachts in Australia over the last 12 years, many of which are now in charter around Australia. Fraser Vickers, owner of SailCorp, will be available to discuss charter ownership in the SailCorp fleet.

Finlease are experts in the area of boat loans. Being boat enthusiasts themselves they fully understand how to finance a boat purchase, whether a personal boat loan or a business/charter boat loan. After searching among 20 lenders for the right solution they will process the application and manage the whole process to make marine finance as straight forward as possible.

Mark O’Donoghue, owner of Finlease, is the undisputed industry expert on all things finance and charter yacht ownership as a business. With a variety of tax benefits and potential savings available through charter yacht ownership, Mark can offer guidance on how to gain these benefits as well as provide finance assessment, qualification and rates.

The base will be open for yacht viewings from 3pm and a brief presentation will be held at 6.30pm. Drinks will be available from 5.30pm to please come down to see the boats and have a chat.

New Caledonia Groupama Race update
