This weekend - 9 & 10 May - Hayling Island SC is the venue for the third round of the 29er Harken Grand Prix. In an event shared with the 49er fleet, the south coast venue is sure to attract a large entry especially with the good forecast.
HISC will be the venue for the third round of the 29er Harken Grand Prix. Rutland and Sunderland both passed with different winners emerging from both. Adam Larvin and John Whelton now lead the series with a 10th and a 1st followed by Keith Escritt and Emily Styles.
Hayling are well rehearsed for providing excellent racing for the 29er class having held the National Championships and Youth championships in the past. The fleet are looking forward to an exciting weekend which they are sharing with the 49ers.
Both fleets will hold their 2009 championships at HISC later in the year, so this event is a chance to get some sailing on the championship race course.
