Hilary Lister, the brave quad who attempted to sail round Britain last year and was beaten, not by her health, but by technical problems and then the onset of winter, will once again be challenging herself to sail round Britain, AND there are ways that you can become involved by taking one of the jobs still on offer.
Hilary aims to begin her training in the Dover Marina late April and set sail from Plymouth on 18th May.
Many people, inspired by Hilary's resilience, have helped her re-launch her dream.
The team is currently looking to fill 5 positions:
Principal RIB Driver
2 RIB Drivers
Shore Team Assistant
Care Assistant
Her ‘round Britain dream’ will hopefully affect many people’s lives as it is not only a sail but also the foundations of Hilary’s charity Hilary’s Dream Trust.
This charity aims to facilitate the sailing dreams of those with disabilities or significant disadvantages, with all funds raised in excess required to cover the costs of Hilary's Round Britain Dream going to Hilary's Dream Trust.
