Henry Lloyd now open in Chatswood Chase Sydney

by BW Media on 22 Mar 2009
An inviting interior SW

Better known in the world of cold water sailing for their legendary wet weather gear, Henry Lloyd has opened its doors this month to their second Australian concept store.

Chatswood Chase, on Sydney's thriving north shore, is a long way from any association with the sea, but it is right at home in the quality stakes to make Henry Lloyd's garments feel at home.

Based on the international Henri Lloyd design, the store itself features fresh white timber paneling contrasted by walnut stained wood shelving and custom made furniture. Lush dark walnut leather chairs create an enticing environment to contemplate the new collection after a days shopping - or to try on the latest footwear.

Boasting a huge 1500 square feet of retail space, the store stocks the latest collections from Henri Lloyd including menswear, womenswear, Atmosphere 360, footwear and sunglasses. With more collections to be launched in store throughout the year!

The current Autumn Winter collection in store is inspired by the rugged coast of South Africa. Tangerine, amethyst, kiwi green and claret are hot colours for the season and reflect the harsh beauty of an often dry, dusty land surrounded by a notoriously ferocious ocean that brings with it roaring South Atlantic storms.

Luxe fabrics with soft handle that utilise cashmere, super fine lamb wools and cottons typify the collection. Rugged woolen knitted pullovers and Melton wool duffel coats are teamed with super light crews and crisp cotton shirts. Style that lasts a lifetime and not just a season.
