29er NZ Nationals included in Sail Auckland

Perfect racing conditions! - 29er and 49er Australian Championships 2009 Peter Kovesi
Lindsay Kennedy and Bobbie O'Brien in 2006 ,handed the reins of the 29er Association to Ross Whitburn Dunedin,whose daughter Chelsea selected the 29er as her boat of choice from P Class development level.

The class has had some support and little help from YNZ for the last 4 years.

Now the 29er Association are delighted to anounce inclusion in Sail Auckland 2009 for the 29er National Championships and we look forward to an interdominion exchange with Australia and Pacific region leading up to the Olympics 2012.Weymouth UK where NZ team competed in 2006.

Ralph Roberts, doyen of New Zealand Yachting has agreed to be Patron of New Zealand 29er Assocation and is supportive of Takapuna Yacht Club hosting the 29er Worlds in the next five years ,as this well trained team of Race management have show how to host World Class regattas.

New Zealand 29ers look forward to putting the fun into this exciting Bethwaite Skiff.
