Seawind Cruising Dan Seifers
In September this year, Dan and Carol Seifers completed an epic 12,000 nautical mile voyage across the Pacific Ocean end to end, top to bottom, starting from Sydney in November 2007 then crossing the Tasman Sea to New Zealand, then east to Tahiti, north to Hawaii, much further north to Alaska and finally down the west coast of North America to San Francisco.
Their experience has been captured in a two part audio interview (Podcast) which is now available to listen or download online at http://www.seawindcats.com/index.pl?page=584
These interviews provide invaluable information to the cruising enthusiast on navigation, communications, provisioning, life onboard a catamaran and their experiences in these amazing locations.
A previous Podcast is also available sharing Joe Siudzinski’s voyage on Seawind 1000 “Katie Kat” along the east coast of Australia and through the Pacific Islands.
The “Catamaran Cruising” podcast will continue to have ongoing interviews of catamaran sailors who have lived the dream of cruising beyond the shores of their familiar ports, and will also provide an insight to life onboard plus hints and tips for those interested in sailing cruising catamarans.
If you would prefer to listen on your Ipod, this podcast is also available on I-Tunes under the Travel category.
