Sea-Ex Manila celebrates boating lifestyle

Between March 20 and 22, Manila will come alive with all things nautical for the Sea-Ex summer expo with a lifestyle event 'that is suited for the Philippines', taking in to account the country's 7,107 islands and focusing on all things marine.
A first of its kind in the Philippine's, organisers say the plan is to eventually spin off into an annual international boat show.
The event will be held at One Esplanade beside the SM Mall of Asia. "The venue allows us to properly display the boats on the water by installing a floating dock. The look of the event is summer outdoor lifestyle," says Katrina Tuason-Cruz, MD of Rogue Media Inc.
The concept is to bring together the summer experience of luxury lifestyle. "Aside from boats we will also include dive shops, boat engines, jet skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing and dragon boat racing. There will be booths for retailers. Since it is all about the lifestyle we will be having a fashion show, nightly sunset cocktails with a DJ, live bands and a nightly fireworks display."
According to Tuason-Cruz, OneEsplanade is Manila's new definitive and stylish social venue.
