High Seas 63 - its on the beach!

The High Seas 63 luxury motor yacht brings a new meaning to ‘go anywhere’ when it comes to the world of extended cruising.

This supremely comfortable offshore passagemaker affords the owner the opportunity to escape crowded anchorages because this vessel can literally be put where the owner often wants to be – right on the beach!

And, suddenly, there is unprecedented serenity and solitude to be enjoyed.

It’s a bit like moving your luxury home from one waterfront location to another, anywhere in the world. Just find your piece of paradise, and it’s yours: Go in on one high tide and casually float off on the next. It’s as simple as that. She sits high, dry and upright thanks to two steel skegs attached to the hull.

This all means that the High Seas 63 presents experiences and destinations that other similar sized vessels cannot.

The High Seas 63 is specially designed and purpose-built to explore the world, and when it comes to trans-ocean passages, the owner will be secure in the knowledge that this is the latest vessel to come from a well-proven lineage spanning more than a quarter of a century of boatbuilding. The builder, Allan Barnett Motor Yachts, holds an outstanding reputation in Australia for the construction of similar sized, strong, stable and seaworthy commercial fishing vessels that take on the might of the notorious Southern Ocean.

The High Seas 63 is a standout through its seaworthy, powerful and proud design, the magnificence of the contemporary interior, and the high standard of appointments that are found from stem to stern.

Quality, comfort and volume are the keywords for the accommodation. It’s a total comfort zone in every sense, from the style and luxuriance that is to be found in the spacious saloon – where expansive windows bring the panorama of the outside world to you - through to the two sumptuous staterooms and the twin-berth guest cabin. The cleverly designed galley will make catering a pleasure, not a chore, while at the business end of the boat the wheelhouse is everything you would expect from a vessel of this calibre. You can watch the high, flared bow cut the seas as you pilot from this ship-like location, or alternatively be the master on the open air flybridge atop the wheelhouse, where a hard top and clear curtains provide ample fair weather protection.

Among the additional features are teak decks, a large aft deck for outdoor dining, and a locker that is large enough for a motorcycle to be stored. The builders are also in a position to customise much of the interior to meet each owner’s requests.

The High Seas 63 carries excellent credentials: The reinforced steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and machinery are compliant with USL 2B Survey Standards. Twin 301 H.P. Cummins diesels will push her along at a pleasant 11 knots, and full fuel tanks will bring within reach destinations that are 2000 nautical miles away.
