UK Launch of the Bavaria 43 by Clipper Marine

by Fast Track Sailing on 4 Sep 2008
New Bavaria 43 cruiser Bavaria Yachtbau

Clipper Marine, the UK dealership for Bavaria Sailing Yachts will be hosting the exclusive launch of the new Bavaria 43 model at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show.

The launch is open to all on the Bavaria stand F007 at 11:45am on Friday, 12 September. The Clipper Marine Directors; Richard Hewett, Matthew Attree and Johnny Cochran will be available for interview.

The Bavaria 43 manufactured in Germany by renowned yacht builder, Bavaria Yachtbau, has a new design concept, notably the new flexible cabin options. Sleeping arrangements can now be customised with the choice of 2 aft cabins or 1 single, large owner’s cabin, storage is located under the beds, this is an excellent improvement to design choice by Bavaria.

The modern interior continues into the galley with an integrated microwave and refrigerator, upgraded chart table and three deck hatches in the main salon that can be opened, giving a total of eight windows and five port lights for the evening guaranteeing a light, spacious atmosphere in the salon at any time of day.

On deck the innovation continues with the aim of increased comfort. The new enlarged cockpit table and seating with two wing doors at the companionway and the instruments now installed directly on the steering pedestal rather than originally at the cockpit table gives a sense of space compared to the original design on the 42 foot model.

Life raft stowage on deck has now been re-allocated to the transom freeing up storage space and the successful re-design is finally complimented by the expanded bathing platform.

The Bavaria 43 will be on stand F007 and available for on the spot viewing for the duration of the show from 12 to 21 September.
