Smallest IMS division ever in Strathfield Pittwater to Coff race
by Rob Kothe on 3 Jan 2002
Once considered to be the Grand Prix ocean racing division, the Strathfield Pittwater to Coffs IMS division has shrunk almost away with the increasing popularity of the IRC division. There are six times as many IRC entries as IMS division in this race.
Sisterships Le Billett and Koolewong, both Beneteau 40.7's, just north of Nambucca Hill are leading in the 2002 Strathfield Pittwater to Coffs IMS race.
Sailing north under shy kites the division leaders have benefited from the building easterly breeze which has blown them home faster than the division line honours winner Hollywood Boulevard.
