Brits lead Mirror European Championships

Edward and Bethany Grey of Britain lead the Mirror Europeans after day 1. Three races were completed on the opening day in Sweden. Emma and Martin Barry won the first and third races but an 18th in the second race places them seventh overall. Ross Kearney and Kathy Jones from Ireland won the second race and are third overall, two points behind Chris Rust and Oliver Newman.

Earlier in the week Edward and Bethany Grey won the Swedish Championships. Second were Ross Kearney and Katy Jones and third Hugo Sloper and Aidan McCarthy of Britain.

The events are taking place during Gottskär Race Week in Sweden.
