Professional event management company, Rhumbline Marketing has been honoured at the inaugural BTPublishing e-awards. The awards were held to acknowledge those involved in the events industry and celebrate excellence in events.

Rhumbline Marketing was announced the winner in both the Festival of the Year and the Sporting Event of the Year categories for their event coordination of Skandia Geelong Week, making it a clean sweep for the Geelong based company.

Stacey Jarvis of Rhumbline was present to accept both awards at the ceremony held on the waters of Sydney Harbour and was delighted with the win, 'It is an honour to accept these two awards, we are very proud of our achievements and of Skandia Geelong Week.

'A tremendous amount of work goes into coordinating this event and it’s great to receive recognition from our peers in the events industry' she said.

It has been a successful period for the company who was also recently announced the recipient of the Media & Publicity Award at the Victorian Yachting Awards.

Over 400 guests attended the awards ceremony, which was held to coincide with RSVP, Australia’s premier exhibition for the special events industry.

Rhumbline was formed in 1995 and since then has established itself as a leading event management company, coordinating events such as Skandia Geelong Week, Skandia Docklands Invitational, Toast to the Coast, Alternative Farmvision, Wyndham Water Wise plus many more.
