Daniel Wilde BIA Victoria marketing manager BIA Victoria
The Boating Industry Association (BIA) of Victoria has appointed experienced marketing manager Daniel Wilde to head its marketing team.

Daniel has held marketing roles in marine, publishing and utilities sectors for major Australian and British corporations.

He is also a keen boatie, having crewed in two Rolex Swan Regattas and two Cowes Weeks.

He took up his new position on 14 July.

BIA general manager Robert Coco said Daniel was the perfect candidate to advance BIA’s marketing strategies.

“Daniel has a great understanding of marketing in a broad range of contexts and we are confident he will bring exactly the skills we need to the role of marketing manager,” he said.

“Much of his career has been devoted to promotions, shows and strategic planning, which equips him exceptionally well to head up the marketing and promotions team.”

Daniel said he was keen to get to know the Victorian marine industry and all the organisations involved in it.

“Having an interest in the marine industry, I am delighted to take on this key role within Victoria’s peak marine representative organisation,” he said.

“I look forward to bringing new ideas and strategies to the table to ensure that the BIA continues to go from strength to strength in all aspects of its marketing and promotional activities.”
