Challenger - Seth Cascais Worlds 2008 SW

The Hungarian Zoltan Pegan is still in the lead of Seth Cascais Worlds 2008, which is taking place until next Saturday in Cascais-Portugal. The Hungarian has three points lead over Britain's Luke Barbanneau, who was the star, winning two of the three races of the day.

Another fantastic sailing day, welcomed the 28 boat Challenger fleet which are competing in Cascais Bay for the IFDS Multihull World Championship . In the second day of the event, three races were sailed with the Barbanneau showing his potential winning two races and climbing to the second position overall, just three points behind the Hungarian.

Pegan is still defending his world title. Today with a 2nd, 4th and a 1st in the last race of the day, keeps leading the fleet:

'Today was a good day. I’m keeping in the front of the fleet, but young Luke sailed really well today, winning the first two races of the day. The sailing conditions were very favourable. The wind was light in the beginning and it built up towards the afternoon and the waves were small. Another sunny day.'

The British fleet has five sailors in the top 10.
