Flying Dutchman Europeans

by Sail-World on 6 Jun 2008
Flying Dutchman Europeans 2008 SW

The German pair, Jorn Borowski and Andreas Berlin have kept the lead they took in the second race on day 1, with a fourth place finish in race three. The Australians Norman Rydge and Richard Scarr recovered to second place overall and Italians Francesco Vespasiani and Francesco Gerunzi are in third place.

Biggest inprovers in the top group were Jorgen and Jacob Bojsen-Moller of Denmark, the 2007 World Champions, who won race three and move into fourth place, up from 12th. Like the Aussie pair, they carry a high 20 plus score, so will hope to be able to drop that later.

John Williams and Alex Rogers are the best placed GBR sailors in 47th, with a 53, 44, 46 scoreline.
