ICSA National Championship Eastern Semifinal Hobart and William Smith April 26-27 Final Results

Regatta Highlights
Saturday Conditions began with a steady South breeze at 10 to 14 knots. The sun cast its warmth down for 6 races in A division and 4 in B division until scattered thunderstorms brought a halt to our day at around 2:30. There was 1 protest, 1 rule 42 infringement and 1 breakdown filed, which where handled by our wonderful judges George Griswald, Doc Sullivan, and JB Turney.

All courses were Windward,Leeward Gate, Windward, finish to Leeward courses on our calm Seneca Lake.

Sunday Conditions provided for 2 races in A division and 4 in B Division. With a lighter breeze from the South, 3.5 to 6 knots of breeze was noted. The southerly held out until about 1:00 and hinted a North Westerly at about 3:00, but remained only a hint. The same courses were sailed.

Thank you to our judges, Jeff Sullivan, our PRO and all of the Hobart and William Smith sailors who helped with race committee.

Congratulations to all the teams and to the top 9 teams who qualify for the ICSA Nationals.
