Founding Editor appointed for MarineBusiness-World

by MarineBusiness-World.com on 14 Apr 2008
Tetra Media, the publishers of Sail-World.com and Powerboat-World.com, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gold Coast journalist Jeni Bone as the Editor of its newest publication MarineBusiness-World.com

For the last three years Jeni has been the Editor of Australia’s Marine Business magazine.

During her career of almost two decades Jeni has been writing for trade, business and lifestyle publications, as well as scripting TV documentaries (food and travel) and advertising copywriting. She has written for publications as diverse as Vogue, Cosmos, the Sun-Herald, World and Discovery.

Jeni said ‘I am thrilled to join Marine-Business World as the Founding Editor.

‘I enjoy working with people involved in the marine industry. It’s exciting to making the jump from traditional to ‘now media’, with a much bigger industry audience across the Asia Pacific.

'In this new online role, I have a broad scope to cover the wide world of marine business, its products, proponents and personalities across the most exciting and rapidly growing region in the world.

‘MarineBusiness-World will be able to deliver immediacy and interactive exchange within the marine industry sector, just as Sail-World and Powerboat-World do the sailing and boating fraternity.'

'TetraMedia is now one of the larger marine news groups in the World across all media. It’s a 24x7 leader in world online marine news.

‘I am looking forward to working with the eight other marine editors. With the Boat Show season upon us, it will be hectic and fulfilling to report on the industry action around the Asia Pacific and the World.’
