One of the seven wonders of the natural world and listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park offers visitors the breathtaking beauty of the world’s largest coral reef.

The reef, between 15 and 150 km offshore and around 65 km wide in some parts, contains over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays. The Marine Park’s pristine blue waters are dotted with hundreds of picturesque tropical islands fringed with golden sandy beaches. For those wishing to explore the underwater attractions, the brilliant vivid coral and abundance of marine life provide scuba divers with the most spectacular diving experience imaginable.

The ideal way to explore the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef is on the luxury vessel Phantom, a 65 ft Precision motor cruiser, with its experienced staff of three: captain, executive chef and guide. Phantom is available for extended charters of five or more days and, for cruises of this length, is suitable for up to four guests.

Guests are assured of total privacy, with limousine transfers provided to and from the marina, exclusive Phantom moorings from which to choose and flexible charter times. The gourmet cuisine prepared by the onboard chef caters to individual needs and is of a very high standard.

Over the years, Phantom has taken many famous visitors to the Outer Reef and its islands, including First Lady Hillary Clinton, John Prescott, the Corrs, Kylie Minogue and Naomi Watts.

Recently Phantom has achieved fame of its own, starring in the current Warner Bros. motion picture ‘Fool’s Gold’, alongside Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.

Cruising on Phantom is a delightful way to enjoy the amazing sights of Far North Queensland, which for some lucky guests might include sightings of migrating whales, such as the minke, humpback and rare albino mingaloo whale.
