ICSA Crimson win Lynne Marchiando Trophy

by collegesailing.org on 7 Apr 2008
Inter Collegiate College Sailing (ICSA) Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) . http://www.collegesailing.org/
These are the final results for the Friis/Marchiando Team Race at MIT/Tufts April 5-6

In a strong contrast to Saturday, today's racing took place in brisk NE winds and cool temperatures. The action was hard fought with many very tight finishes. Matt Knowles was judge who along with PRO Fran Charles, heard 3 protests.

The end resulted in a tie between Harvard and Coast Guard, which was resolved in a sail-off with the Crimson winning the Lynne Marchiando Trophy.

Many thanks to the MIT Sailing Team members who assisted in running the event.
