Monk leads after Day 1 of Black Heart Finns
by Geoff Letcher on 23 Mar 2008
The Black Heart Finn National Championship being raced at the Waiuku Yacht Club, got underway today, after racing was cancelled yesterday through lack of wind.
Pre regatta favourites Craig Monk and David Hoogenboom dominate so far, with only one point separating them at the moment.
Conditions for racing were light with some significant wind shifts. Overall the racing is very close with a good mix of placing amongst the skippers outside the first two.
