Eagle has introduced a new range of high-performance marine VHF radios. The fixed-mount EVR-150 and EVR-100, and the handheld EHR-10, are innovative and functional solutions for consumers seeking exceptional performance at an affordable price.

Eagle’s new EVR-150 is a powerful, fixed-mount, 25/1 watt radio that offers full DSC SC-101 automatic distress operation plus high-res position polling and group calling. It also receives RMC, GGA, GLL and GNS NMEA 0183 sentences for GPS data.

The EVR-150 includes a large 52mm backlit/adjustable FSTN screen with four line x 12 character alpha/numeric matrix display and a five-key speaker microphone for left-handed or right-handed use. Featuring all international marine channels, the unit is also JIS 7 waterproof/submersible.

The new EVR-100 7/1 watt, fixed-mount VHF radio has 14 times the RF transmission power of standard FRS radio. Also delivering all international marine channels, the EVR-100 has a 52mm segmented LCD screen and a five-key speaker microphone for left-handed or right-handed use.

Eagle’s marine VHF line-up also includes innovation for the handheld market segment, with the new EHR-10 with 5/1 watt transmit power. It includes a long-life 1300 mAh NiMH battery pack (and charger) and features all international marine channels.

Also built tough to exacting JIS 7 waterproof/submersible standards, the handheld unit offers extra features like bright LED TX indicator, power saver circuitry, illuminated LCD display for user visibility, and RX/TX signal strength meter.

All of Eagle’s new marine VHF radios come with a full two-year warranty. RRPs start from $199 (EHR-10) and round out at $349 (EVR-150), excluding antennas.
