Charleston clean up in Spring Coed Intersectional

Charleston took out the top spot after some great competitive racing in the Charleston Spring Coed Intersectional held on February 16-17, 2008.

On Saturday, racing started around 12:30 in a south wind at 4-6 knots. The wind shifted east and increased to 6-10 knots. The final two sets were sailed in the north section of the river. W/L with gates, gold cups, and triangle windward courses were sailed. No protests or breakdowns were filed.

On Sunday racing started around 12:30 in a south wind at 4-6 knots. W/L with gates, gold cups, and triangle windward courses were sailed. No protests were filed and one breakdown was awarded for a broken pintle. Thanks to all of the teams who came to Charleston as well as all of the cougars who helped run a great event.
