Gulf Craft Inc, the Middle East's largest boat and yacht manufacturer, rounded off last year by attending the Phuket International Marine Expo (PIMEX) and delivering its first Majesty 50 yacht to Malaysia.

With four boats on display including the Oryx 36 and Sea Breeze 33, the Thailand dealer experienced positive feedback from visitors and secured three new orders during the four-day event.

'We are delighted with the interest from visitors to PIMEX which represents the growing marine industry in Thailand. Participation at boat shows such as PIMEX will help to cement our growing presence in the Asia market,' said Erwin Bamps, Executive Manager, Gulf Craft Inc.

Gulf Craft's Thailand dealer, Go Boating, also used the PIMEX event to open its new office in the Royal Phuket Marina. The opening has led to an expansion in services and as a result all Gulf Craft boats sold through the dealer can be serviced in-house for a faster and more cost-effective after sales service.

The Majesty 50, which will be used for corporate purposes, will be seen gracing the coastlines of Malaysia and its neighbouring countries.

Pen Marine, Gulf Craft's Malaysian dealer, specialises in the sale of boats to owners who wish to use their boats for corporate hospitality and organizes trips from Phuket to Singapore and the eastern region of Malaysian peninsula, as well as parts of the Indonesian islands.

'Gulf Craft's ability to successfully compete at the highest levels of the international yacht market by meeting and exceeding the expectations of a discerning clientele has resulted in Asia becoming a major market for us and one in which we expect to see much growth over the next 12 months,' said Bamps.

Gulf Craft will also be attending this year's Düsseldorf Boat Show, where it will showcase its Majesty 56 yacht. The new generation Majesty 56 will make its debut in Germany during the nine day event.

The Majesty Yachts ranges upwards in size options from the entry-level Majesty 44 to the 50, 56, 61, 66, 77, 88, 101 and 121 to the flagship Majesty 135. In terms of range of product, Gulf Craft is one of the top five manufacturers in the world.
