Wild Oats XI has won the 2007 Rolex Sydney Hobart on line honours for the third year in a row. Close behind her is Mike Slade’s British entry City Index Leopard. Now Matt Allen’s Ichi Ban has sailed thru the wounded Skandia.

We will have lots of stories, interviews and pix during the day.

Now the real race starts, Roger Sturgeon’s STP65 from Fort Lauderdale is leading on IRC handicap overall and she looks like she will have good weather for a strong finish this afternoon. Then it will be a waiting game to see if the 40 footers have a better run tonight and tomorrow. Lots of time yet for the Fat Lady to sing!!
